I have been fortunate enough to know Shama as a friend since 2000 and in that time I am continually amazed by her artistic ability. Her creativity shows in every aspect of her life, from her breathtaking home decorating, to her paintings and her jewelry designs. I have always loved art, music, decorating and Shama’s awesome cooking. Since I have always sought out beautiful things in my life, I know I have accomplished quite a bit to have such a wonderful friend. I don’t just say this because she is my friend, but because her designs stand apart in my mind in their detail, color, beauty, shape and the feelings that come from seeing her creations. I started creating jewelry in 2004 and in that time I have been exposed to a lot more designers, yet Shama’s beautiful creations always stand out in my mind. They evoke emotions of divine joy, amazement and pure delight. Shama’s colors and textures are full of her own personal passion for her loved ones and her love for beauty. The extra details of beauty seem to mirror the extra love and care that she shows towards her loved ones. The passing of Shama’s brother Abi seemed to halt her creative flow for a while, but the most beautiful things about Abi can never die and will forever inspire and be with Shama.
